WELCOME TO ELIZABETH NEVIN OFFICIAL WEBSITE

Elizabeth Hicks Nevin was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Later, she moved to Fayetteville where her father, Dr. Henry Hicks, Jr., began a teaching position at the University of Arkansas. She has been an artist ever since she could hold a crayon. While a teenager, she won a scholarship to John Brown University in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. She has had her art exhibited in Watertown, New York; Annapolis Maryland; Fayetteville, Little Rock, and Eureka Springs, Arkansas.

Having lived in many parts of America, Elizabeth has chosen to make her home in Fayetteville because of its many desirable living conditions and, especially, because of her children, ages 20 through 38.

Upon viewing Ms Nevin's work, the cultural mystique is depicted in engaging scenes reminiscent of an enchanting storybook narrative with a visual issue of openness and warmth, and a feeling of hope and wonder that the arts are for the moving inner spirit within us all.
